I
have discussed the topic with qth.net/qsl.net owner, Alan Waller, K3TKJ. Let
me
summarize, briefly.
1.
The general qth.net rules do state that EBAY posts should be refrained from.
2.
Regarding the quotation by Alan Waller that he had been persuaded ... Here is
his
reply to me, today quoted verbatim:
"This
is a part of an e-mail I wrote about 3-4 years ago, on the list
managers list. I am honored that someone thinks enough of me to save my old
scribbling.
This
is basically still the rule with some modifications that were
implemented later.
1. Ebay listings are OK but not excessive, and it MUST be
topical for the list.
2.
List managers have the option of allowing or not allowing on their list
as
they see fit.
This
is the way it has been for several years. This was how I assumed you
were
operating?

note that the list manager has the final say so one way or the other. My
decision has been, is and shall continue to be
"NO".
